The Sr Systems Engineer plays a critical role in leading and contributing to the development, analysis, and management of satellite systems throughout their lifecycle, from initial design to post-launch operations.

Focus:
Provide technical expertise and systems engineering support for satellite development initiatives.
Evaluate and provide feedback on vendor designs, ensuring compliance with technical and performance specifications.
Conduct analysis of antenna patterns and assess payload performance metrics.
Perform trade-off studies to determine optimal configurations for digital beamforming antenna systems.
Analyze system capacity while considering power and thermal constraints.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of satellite systems with other infrastructure.
Support interdisciplinary teams with engineering insight to address complex system challenges.
Execute additional tasks as required by project needs.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on wireless communication is highly desirable.
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in satellite systems engineering, satellite design, or related disciplines.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Adept at multitasking and meeting deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite is a plus.
Expertise in satellite systems engineering and integration with ground networks.
Experience with digital payload satellites and digital beamforming technologies.
Deep understanding of the interdependencies between payload design and satellite power/thermal systems.
Familiarity with LEO constellation programs and related engineering challenges.
Experience with analytical tools such as MATLAB, Python, and Power BI.
