Our client is seeking an energetic and strategic leader to join our team as the Vice President of Operations. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction. Focus:
• Lead and guide the operations team, establishing clear objectives and expectations.
• Formulate and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency, minimize costs, and boost overall performance.
• Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention levels.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their event goals and provide customized solutions.
• Supervise event planning and execution to align with client expectations and company standards.
• Oversee all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
• Develop and manage the operations budget, monitoring expenditures and revenue to ensure profitability.
• Implement cost-effective measures while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing operations team.
• Offer guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Establish and enforce quality control processes to maintain exceptional service standards and customer satisfaction.
• Continuously assess and improve operational processes.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful event execution.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other government regulations.
• Manage Operations Labor and Non-Labor COGS budgets, controlling sub-rentals and consumable supplies through proactive management.
• Evaluate and refine current processes with input from the executive team.
Skill Set
• Over 5 years of experience in equipment and facilities management, warehousing, distribution, dispatching, and inventory control.
• Strong background in operational analytics, safety, and labor management.
• Proven track record of delivering reliable products and services that exceed customer expectations.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and management skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Sage, Concur, and Point of Rental (POR) software.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
