They are hiring a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee the operations of their manufacturing, production, maintenance, and utilities facilities.
As a key member of the Construction unit, you will be responsible for the management of the construction and capital expenditure projects within the organization’s Center of Excellence.

Focus:
• Supervise construction managers overseeing specific projects and provide guidance.
• Drive adoption of modern construction management practices, including software utilization and effective communication.
• Recruit and hire construction colleagues with assistance from HR.
• Direct project execution through assigned Construction Managers, managing large budgets and ensuring controls are in place.
• Promote contractor safety to align with company safety standards.
• Review and assess construction cost estimates for accuracy.
• Oversee projects ranging from 12 months to 5 years in duration.
• Develop communication plans and distribute project progress reports.
• Implement project governance, hold teams accountable, and support ongoing process improvement.
Skill Set:
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Prior experience in Industrial Construction Project Management, preferably with a focus on Large Project Management.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction project management.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders, advocating for departmental interests.
• Understanding of pipe fitting, iron work, civil work, electrical work, etc.
• Proficient problem-solving abilities to address complex issues.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, capable of tailoring messages for different audiences.
• Track record of successfully managing multiple million/billion-dollar projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with data/system management, analysis, and reporting tools.
• Proficiency in MS Project Office Professional, as well as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Preferred, but not required, background in OSHA training.
