Focus:
• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including routine radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, adhering to applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, providing clear instructions and support.
• Maintain accurate patient records and prepare required reports.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to radiologic technology.
• Stay current with trends and advancements in radiography and imaging technology.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care and effective communication.
Skill Set:
• Formal training in radiologic technology from an AMA-approved school is required.
• Must hold ARRT registration in radiography and possess a valid IEMA license.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Comprehensive knowledge of diagnostic imaging and fluoroscopic techniques.
• Commitment to patient care and a patient-focused approach during all procedure.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
