Workday Business Analyst
Our client, a leading electrical contracting firm with a history of delivering complex and innovative electrical systems across various industries, is seeking a Workday Business Analyst to join their dynamic team.
The role will involve providing exceptional support and customer service for internal business technology initiatives, specifically focused on Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) System configurations.

Focus:
Perform system configurations within the Workday HCM platform, including managing core tables, eligibility rules, business processes, workflows, notifications, calculated fields, and plan setup.
Support daily operations and maintain the overall functionality of the Workday HCM system, including managing system security settings and updates.
Research and present solution options to internal stakeholders for resolving technical issues.
Provide timely responses to user inquiries and resolve intermediate-level system questions.
Document processes in collaboration with business teams for better operational clarity.
Collaborate with compliance teams to review and enhance compliance processes within the application.
Assist in planning and managing project tasks for designated process areas within the system.
Identify and recommend solutions to address system conditions.
Utilize advanced reporting tools to analyze data and propose system improvements.
Partner with internal business teams to recommend and implement selected solutions using a customer-oriented approach.
Lead the implementation of approved solutions to ensure smooth integration into business processes.
Skill Set:
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Workday HCM systems, with a focus on supporting Payroll, HR, and Benefits functions.
Previous experience in technology-related roles providing customer service, needs analysis, and technical solutions.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
Strong skills in customer service, communication (both written and verbal), and understanding of compliance-related processes.
Familiarity with scripting languages and API integrations.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 suite.
A problem-solving mindset, with demonstrated expertise in delivering customer-focused solutions and understanding business systems.
