An emerging leader in advanced robotics is seeking a Vision Systems Architect to develop and integrate real-time perception frameworks that elevate the intelligence and autonomy of robotic platforms. Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deploy advanced visual perception algorithms for robotic applications, including object recognition, pose estimation, and scene segmentation.
• Leverage stereo vision, depth sensing, and sensor fusion techniques (including IMU and LiDAR integration) to achieve spatial awareness in complex environments.
• Optimize real-time vision pipelines for embedded platforms and edge computing hardware.
• Lead data annotation and active learning efforts to build robust training datasets and continuously improve model accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including control systems, mechanical engineering, and AI/ML groups to embed vision intelligence into end-to-end robotic behaviors.
• Research and evaluate the latest academic and industry breakthroughs in computer vision and bring applicable innovations into production environments.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in computer vision engineering with a focus on real-time perception systems.
• Strong fluency in Python and C++, with hands-on use of vision and robotics libraries (e.g., OpenCV, ROS).
• Proficiency with deep learning tools such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, particularly for visual data.
• Expertise in 3D geometry, camera calibration, and visual SLAM techniques.
Preferred:
• Experience with embedded AI hardware (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Coral, or similar).
• Familiarity with model optimization and deployment frameworks (e.g., TensorRT, ONNX).
• Exposure to robotic motion planning, control theory, or kinematic modeling.
