As an Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless transmission of satellite communication services for a wide range of events and broadcasts. You will be responsible for engineering support, equipment provisioning, and various operational tasks within our cutting-edge Technical Operations Center.

Focus:
Oversee the transmission, distribution, and playout services for a diverse range of events and broadcasts on a weekly basis.
Provide essential engineering support for all live broadcasts, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise. Assemble, rack, cable, and handle electrical requirements for physical equipment, guaranteeing that all components are in proper working order. Learn and proficiently operate ad insertion, encoding, and other broadcast equipment and tasks essential for smooth transmission. Be prepared to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to accommodate the dynamic nature of broadcasting. Perform other duties as assigned by department management, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the Technical Operations Center.
Skill Set:
Demonstrated passion and familiarity with broadcast technologies and applications. Proficiency in production control room and studio equipment is a plus. Competence in using Google and Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication. Able to work evenings, weekends, or maintain a flexible schedule to align with broadcasting demands.
Capable of lifting and relocating Audio/Visual equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as needed for operational requirements. While a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, broadcast, or related fields is preferred, practical experience and a strong passion for satellite communication technology are equally valued.
