Our client is a healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional care to a rural community in Michigan. While situated in a smaller city, the team offers a close-knit and supportive environment with access to post-acute home health and hospital-based services. They are currently seeking a Surgery Technician to join their team.  

As a Surgical Technician, you will play an integral role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures by preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies. Your expertise will contribute to a safe and efficient operating room environment, working in collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and the entire surgical team.

Focus:

Set up and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.

Assist the surgical team during operations, maintaining a sterile environment.

Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot as necessary.

Adhere to established protocols to promote patient safety.

Skill Set:

Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program or equivalent experience.

Surgical Technologist certification preferred but not required.

At least one year of surgical experience in an acute care setting is advantageous.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
