Focus:
Conduct structural analysis and design for modular steel structures, ensuring efficiency and integrity.
Create and update calculation tools to enhance design workflows and improve accuracy.
Perform detailed code reviews to ensure designs meet applicable local and national building standards.
Prepare and revise structural drawings and technical details using advanced design software.
Collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to seamlessly integrate structural components with other building systems.
Partner with site teams to address construction challenges and provide on-the-ground engineering support.
Conduct periodic site visits to ensure quality control and alignment with design specifications.
Skill Set:
A bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, specializing in structural design.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering, with a strong emphasis on steel structure design and analysis.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license, with the ability to pursue additional state certifications as needed.
Extensive experience with structural design software such as RISA-3D, ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent tools.
Strong expertise in using AutoCAD and Excel at an advanced level.
Familiarity with Revit is an advantage but not mandatory.
Exceptional analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
