We are seeking a seasoned Senior HR Generalist to join our client’s dynamic team. As a Senior HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization’s human resources function, focusing on a wide array of responsibilities from employee relations to dispute resolution.

Focus:
Employee Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Dispute Resolution: Independently lead the investigation and resolution process for workplace disputes, ensuring fair and equitable outcomes. Investigation Process: Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee grievances and complaints, adhering to company policies and legal requirements. Arbitration Leadership: Take charge of dispute resolution processes, including leading arbitrations and mediations when necessary. Supervisory Support: Provide guidance and support to supervisory staff on HR-related issues, promoting consistency and compliance across the organization. Workforce Relations: Apply extensive knowledge of labor dynamics to navigate intricate union and non-union settings, cultivating favorable connections with all stakeholders. Safety Advocacy: Play a key role in upholding a safety-focused environment by implementing HR strategies that prioritize employee welfare and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Skill Set:
High school diploma/GED and 10 years of relevant HR experience, OR bachelor’s degree and 5 years of HR experience, OR master’s degree and 3 years of HR experience. Minimum of 3 years of generalist experience, demonstrating proficiency across various HR functions. PHR/SPHR Certification preferred. Prior experience in the resource extraction or manufacturing sectors is advantageous. Proven track record of leading dispute resolution processes, including arbitrations and investigations. Leadership experience with the ability to provide guidance and support to managerial staff. Strong understanding of labor relations principles and practices. Commitment to fostering a safety-oriented culture within the organization.
