Our client, a rapidly growing company in the automation and motion control manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting operations at their facility. This key role will be responsible for maintaining the financial infrastructure, implementing best practices, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial reporting and controls.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting, manufacturing operations, and managing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Focus:
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports, annual budgets, and forecasts in alignment with GAAP.
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage key accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.
• Implement lean principles and financial controls to optimize accounting procedures and improve efficiency.
• Analyze operating results and collaborate with management to address areas for improvement, including cost analysis and foreign currency exchanges.
• Consolidate financial results with the company’s operations internationally, ensuring accurate reporting and addressing any discrepancies.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard the company’s financial integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required by senior leadership.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years’ experience in accounting in a manufacturing or cost accounting environment.
• Strong proficiency in general ledger accounting, month-end close procedures, and journal entries.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (experience with Plex preferred, but open to other manufacturing ERP systems).
• Experience with foreign consolidations and multi-currency accounting.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and management.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required.
• Must be a self-starter with a hands-on approach and leadership abilities.
