The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in overseeing large-scale warehouse and distribution center projects, as well as a deep understanding of commercial construction processes and disciplines.

Focus:

Oversee day-to-day construction activities on large-scale warehouse and distribution center projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Coordinate and manage subcontractors, materials, and equipment to maintain project timelines and efficiency.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.

Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve on-site issues and maintain project progress.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety records.

Implement and enforce site safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.

Utilize construction management software and digital tools to streamline project tracking and communication.

Stay informed about industry advancements and best practices in warehouse and distribution center construction.

Skill Set:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required if equivalent experience is demonstrated.

3+ years of relevant experience in Commercial Construction, with a focus on large-scale warehouse and distribution center projects.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and regulatory requirements specific to warehouse and distribution center builds.

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents, including blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.

Experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating various trades on large-scale projects.

Solid understanding of construction scheduling and ability to manage project timelines effectively.

Familiarity with construction management software and digital tools used in project tracking and communication.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
