Our client, a leader in wireless communication solutions, is seeking a Senior DAS Field Technician to join their dynamic team. This role is critical for the installation, testing, and maintenance of DAS and other wireless communication systems across various sites.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of wireless technologies, demonstrate proficiency in field installations, and have a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. Focus:
Oversee the setup, activation, and upkeep of distributed antenna systems and related wireless technologies Conduct on-site troubleshooting and system optimization to ensure peak performance. Coordinate with project management and engineering teams to ensure project objectives are met. Provide technical training and guidance to team members, enhancing team expertise. Coordinate the organization and submission of project-related materials such as blueprints, execution summaries, and verification procedures. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Interface with clients, offering technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction. Oversee inventory management and procurement of tools and materials.
Skill Set:
High school diploma or GED, supplemented by 3-5 years of relevant experience or training. Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of low voltage cable installation experience, Anritsu certification, and fiber optic fusion splicing experience. Demonstrated ability in RF in-building systems, with 3+ years of practical experience. Leadership skills coupled with effective communication abilities to lead and coordinate team efforts. Proven expertise in radio frequency systems within buildings and comprehensive knowledge of various service network technologies. Valid driver’s license with a reliable transportation method. OSHA 10-hour certification is mandatory; OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred. Proficiency in MS Suite is essential.
