RF Hardware Engineer
Our client, a leading provider of wireless technology solutions, is seeking a highly skilled RF Hardware Engineer who is driven to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic industry. This role is pivotal in designing and delivering high-quality RF hardware solutions that meet stringent military specifications.
As an RF Hardware Engineer, you will engage in the design, assembly, and testing of RF power amplifiers within the military RF/Microwave industry. You will play a key role in developing high-power amplifier (HPA), rack, and low-noise amplifier (LNA) products tailored to specific company applications.

Focus:
• Design and develop RF hardware that conforms to military specifications (Mil Specs).
• Lead projects from conception through to completion, ensuring all technical requirements are met.
• Utilize advanced semiconductor circuit techniques with materials such as GaAs, GaN, LDMOS, and MMIC technology.
• Develop power amplifiers using Class AB and other architectures.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure design specifications and project deadlines are met.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout using software tools like PADS and engage in 3D modeling/CAD for design enhancement.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design, assembly, and testing of RF/Microwave hardware specifically for military applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in using RF/Microwave simulation tools such as Advanced Design System (ADS).
• Experience with PCB layout software (such as PADS) and familiarity with 3D modeling/CAD tools.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office suite for project documentation and presentation.
• Experience in developing high-power amplifiers, racks, and low-noise amplifiers tailored for specific applications.
• An innovative mindset with a penchant for precision and problem-solving.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and to drive projects to completion under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of RF/Microwave engineering principles.
