Our client, a top provider of wireless and communication services, is expanding its team due to growth. They’re hiring an RF Engineer who will take on the responsibility of network communication project design and performance, with a focus on the UMTS, VoLTE Radio Network.
The RF Engineer will optimize the implementation and maintenance of advanced communication systems to meet project-specific needs. Working extensively with diverse technical teams, the engineer will serve as the RAN, ATOLL, and Ericsson SME.

Focus:
Apply in-depth knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures to provide consultation on RF engineering matters, including system dimensioning for coverage and capacity, network optimization, and tuning. Perform RF Optimization – RAN coverage/capacity optimization. Provide network optimization analysis and recommendations using a combination of drive data and network statistics. Perform statistical analysis to identify KPI offenders and find root causes to address degradation/customer impact. Interface directly with customers to update on project delivery, obstacles, milestones, acting as a technical resource. Manage overall project from start to execution and assist other team members to complete tasks on time. Identify and resolve RF interference issues across various frequency bands. Support technical documentation such as error logs, statements of work, technical requirements, spec sheets, and manuals
Skill Set:
BSEE or related Engineering degree. MSEE or equivalent is a plus. 5+ years of hands-on design and engineering experience and in-depth understanding of UMTS and VoLTE network RF design and performance metrics. Minimum of 5 years’ experience with RF propagation principles, cellular theory, RF engineering tools, MapInfo, and ATOLL. Proven experience working with Ericsson ENM, AMOS platforms. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of top-rated network managers and global communication service providers. Strong background in solution optimization and system performance management. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Able to pass all pre-employment checks, including substance screen, criminal background, and motor vehicle record. Willing to work onsite, and travel up to 25% of the time.
Salary Range: $100K-150K
