The selected candidate will oversee a diverse set of civil engineering duties, with the flexibility of hybrid working hours. Focus:

Execute civil engineering analysis and design, covering roadway and grading design, site layout, zoning, stormwater management, utility planning, and ADA compliance.

Collaborate with local utility providers, municipalities, environmental agencies, and planning boards to present and coordinate project submissions.

Conduct on-site investigations to document and evaluate existing conditions.

Assist in the development of design plans, calculations, and specifications, working closely with other disciplines to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Conduct construction inspections, offering solutions and responses to issues that arise during the construction phase.

Utilize project management and engineering skills on a variety of projects, from small-scale restorations to larger construction efforts.

Participate in professional development activities and industry functions.

Provide guidance and contribute to the development of technical standards while supporting junior engineers.

Skill Set:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant civil engineering experience.

EIT certification is required, with PE licensure in New Jersey preferred.

Ability to guide and collaborate with less-experienced engineers.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.

Strong understanding of code compliance, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines consistently.
