Our client is a major telecommunications company providing connectivity solutions such as networking, LTE, cloud, CBRS, SD-WAN and WAN/LAN. They looking to add a Product Manager to their team in order to plan and execute the overall product lifecycle of a commercial platform.
The Product Manager will work with partners, business development, engineering, support, marketing, and sales to build and deliver a platform that people and companies love. The Product Manager will be responsible for spearheading this initiative and will need to have deep technological knowledge to work with a developer team in order to build a customer friendly product experience.

Focus:
• Work cross-functionally to guide product from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds.
• Position company products among channel partners, agents, resellers, and commercial dealers to drive adoption and ultimately business revenue.
• Create, manage, and implement product roadmap, defining features and communicating integration requirements while delivering MRDs and PRDs.
• Collaborate with marketing department and senior team members to provide direction on partner and market requirements as they pertain to product success. Establish core product messaging for seamless positioning throughout all teams.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and anticipate market changes. Stay up-to-date on competitor pricing and positioning to influence and adjust strategy as needed.
• Engage reporting groups to develop analytical reports and/or pricing tools for the product.
• Develop forecasting models and track financial performance, analyze funnel, revenue, churn, margin and product operational performance metrics and design, propose, and execute methods to improve product execution.
• Ensure adherence to budget.
• Present to internal teams and external audiences on product demos, partnership opportunities, licensing, and more.
Skill Set:
• 7+ years of progressive experience in product management or product marketing.
• Strong ability to drive product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
• Technical understanding of the telecom industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Understanding of data networking, IoT, 5G/edge, and next-gen telecom.
• Experience with solution-selling methodologies and technical training.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to speak to the needs of customers through product messaging and marketing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel 35%.
