Focus:
• Drive innovation and provide expert support for strategic projects involving specialized plastic films, focusing on cutting-edge uses like renewable energy storage and solar power solutions.
• Become the technical subject matter expert in relevant fields through in-depth analysis of competitive intellectual property, understanding of regulatory requirements, and collaboration with global R&D teams.
• Showcase expertise by designing, fabricating, and testing advanced film prototypes, collaborating with external partners and conducting in-house assessments to validate performance.
• Develop detailed project timelines, conduct risk analysis, and define critical quality specifications for all potential opportunities.
• Play a key role in shaping quality standards by drafting precise technical requirements, creating detailed product specifications, and developing deviation permits to ensure excellence in film development.
• Attend trade shows and conferences as a technical representative, building relationships with industry contacts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and drive the design, development, and implementation of products aligned with business strategy.
• Partner with a multidisciplinary network of experts spanning Engineering, Operations, and Quality to overcome technical hurdles and drive continuous improvement through collaborative problem-solving.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or related field required.
• 5+ years of technical experience, preferably in a manufacturing R&D or Process role across multiple technical processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead product and process development projects with sustained results.
• Proficiency in project management tools, Design of Experiment, Design for Lean Six Sigma, and statistical analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information and apply it to business results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
