Our client is a digital infrastructure solutions company that helps businesses across industries in optimizing their digital infrastructure to achieve their business goals. They are looking to hire a Sourcing Coordinator to coordinate the sourcing activities related to mechanical and electrical equipment for construction projects. This person will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless equipment delivery and project execution.

Focus:

Facilitate the orchestration of sourcing initiatives pertaining to mechanical and electrical apparatus, encompassing oversight of inventory administration and purchase order coordination. Collaborate with construction, engineering, and finance departments to ensure continuity of equipment delivery. Assist in the supply chain process, including competitive bidding, reviewing vendor proposals, and managing clarifications with vendors. Review product submittals and ensure compliance with project requirements. Maintain communication and collaboration with internal departments, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.

Skill Set:

Background in construction, procurement, or engineering preferred. Prior exposure to inventory oversight, purchase order administration, and analytical tasks is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across various departments and levels of the organization. Familiarity with supply chain processes and procedures. Proficiency in assessing vendor submissions and effectively addressing inquiries for clarification. Understanding of product submittal review processes. Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment and contribute to team success.
