Principal SoC Analog Design Architect
A global leader in advanced electronic solutions is seeking a Principal SoC Analog Design Architect to spearhead analog IC development for next-generation test and measurement systems. Focus:
Lead full-chip analog design initiatives, including high-level block aggregation, schematic capture, and system connectivity.
Architect and implement advanced mixed-signal circuits using CMOS and BiCMOS technologies for high-speed signal processing applications.
Drive floorplanning efforts and collaborate closely with layout engineers to optimize chip-level performance and integration.
Translate system-level requirements into innovative and robust IC design architectures.
Conduct detailed simulation, modeling, and validation of analog IP blocks.
Own design delivery from concept through tape-out, including documentation and post-silicon validation.
Mentor and guide junior engineers; foster a collaborative and solution-focused design environment.
Work with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless SoC integration and test coverage.
Skill Set:
MS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent); 8–10+ years of relevant experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design.
Demonstrated success leading large analog macro and SoC-level designs through full development cycles.
Mastery of analog design tools and flows, including Cadence Virtuoso (required), MATLAB, ADS, and other modeling platforms.
Deep understanding of floorplanning, signal integrity, device matching, noise mitigation, and ESD considerations.
Experience designing large-scale SoCs with complex block integration (e.g., 8x8mm layouts).
Skilled in debugging, characterizing, and validating analog designs within lab and system contexts.
U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card holder) required for eligibility.
