They are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Engineer to join their team. This role is pivotal in maintaining continuous plant operations and high efficiency at their facility.

Focus:
• Serve as the lead technical resource for piping systems, stationary equipment, and rotating equipment.
• Implement solutions to continuously improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
• Provide technical expertise in identifying, investigating, and resolving plant operating, safety, and design issues to ensure plant reliability and availability.
• Support safe and reliable plant operation through maintenance of components and development of procedures.
• Assist in maintenance and work management by resolving engineering technical issues within the work management process, including troubleshooting support.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of power plant operations, including the steam cycle, steam turbine generator sets, electrical generation, transformers, and power distribution systems.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology with at least 10 years of experience in power plant operations.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with industrial boilers, turbine generators, and auxiliary equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to accurately interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Solid understanding of industrial codes & standards (API, ASME, ANSI, OSHA, State).
• Demonstrated ability in the maintenance of various pumps, fans, blowers, compressors, motors, and gearboxes.
• Experience with bearings, couplings, mechanical seals, oil analysis, vibration analysis, outage planning, parts refurbishment, and machinery re-engineering.
• Effective problem-solving skills and a strong foundation in power plant operation and steam cycles.
