A nationally scaled healthcare lender is undertaking a strategic rebuild of its sales function and is seeking a senior-level originator to spearhead growth across its national healthcare finance platform. Key Responsibilities
• Drive new deal origination in healthcare finance, including:
• Post-Acute, Behavioral Health, Skilled Nursing, Senior Housing, Hospitals
• Payor-Provider Models, Healthcare Services, HCIT
• Actively develop relationships with:
• Private equity sponsors
• Healthcare operators
• Investment banks and intermediaries
• Structure and close complex transactions including term loans, real estate-secured deals, mezzanine, unitranche, and opportunistic credit.
• Partner closely with credit, underwriting, and capital markets teams to bring deals from pitch to close.
• Provide strategic input to the buildout of the commercial team and sales culture.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• 10–20+ years of experience in middle-market healthcare lending, private credit, ABL, or structured finance.
• Track record of originating and closing $500M+ in transactions.
• Deep relationships across healthcare operators, sponsors, and financial intermediaries.
• Comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial, deal-focused environment.
• Strong credit acumen with the ability to independently evaluate and pitch structured financing solutions.
• Previous leadership or player-coach experience is a plus.
