Maintenance Tech – 2nd Shift
Our client manufactures key materials for construction and other industry applications. Due to increased demand, they are looking to hire a Maintenance Technician to directly support the maintenance initiatives for the company’s manufacturing facilities.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and machinery. This person should be skilled in diagnosing problems through troubleshooting, replacing, and repairing parts, and testing equipment to ensure the proper functionalities.

Focus:
Perform diagnosis, repair, and/or maintenance of machinery and industrial systems. Identify mechanical problems of production machinery for department equipment. Repair work orders for part failure and perform basic care and maintenance of machinery. Sets-up, adjusts, and troubleshoots equipment. Work in a team or autonomously to complete work orders and provide maintenance support in a high speed manufacturing environment. Maintain documentation including invoices, customs documents, BOL, and inventory.
Understand and follow all established policies, procedures, and recognized practices for safety, health, and quality. Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.
Skill Set:
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience. HS Diploma or GED required. Must have background in plastics, including extrusion manufacturing experience. Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Familiar with winders, tape machines, and glue machines. Problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose component problems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Good skills in teamwork, strategy, and communication.
