Key Responsibilities:
• Design and optimize machine learning algorithms for behavior-based threat identification, anomaly detection, and malware classification.
• Evaluate security datasets including endpoint telemetry, network captures, and log events to extract actionable signals.
• Develop and maintain scalable pipelines for data ingestion, labeling, feature engineering, and model deployment.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts and infrastructure teams to operationalize ML systems in production environments.
• Continuously evaluate model performance, address adversarial threats, and ensure robustness against evasion techniques.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of professional experience applying machine learning to cybersecurity or adversarial environments.
• Proficient in supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised learning methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with security telemetry tools including SIEMs, EDRs, PCAPs, syslogs, and sandbox data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow, and data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas, Spark).
• Understanding of TTPs, threat actor behaviors, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
Preferred Expertise:
• Experience in time-series anomaly detection, graph ML, or adversarial machine learning.
• Background in SOC tooling, phishing detection, or automated endpoint threat mitigation.
• Contributions to CTI publications, cyber tools, or security research communities.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Competitive base salary of $160,000–$220,000.
