To enhance its litigation capabilities, our client, a prominent law firm with a specialty in casualty and insurance defense seeks an accomplished attorney with extensive courtroom experience. With a robust team of nearly 100 attorneys spanning 30+ locations, this firm is dedicated to delivering top-tier outcomes, ensuring clients receive the maximum restitution they deserve.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex litigation from inception through trial and possess a strong track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients. Our client is looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and has the leadership skills to handle high-stakes cases.

Focus:
• Lead litigation cases involving property damage and personal injury from initial filing to trial, including all aspects of discovery, motions, and courtroom appearances.
• Serve as 1st chair in trials, managing the litigation strategy, preparing witnesses, and arguing motions.
• Handle client communications, provide legal counsel, and manage expectations throughout the litigation process.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, and arbitrations as necessary.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses, investigators, and other team members to build strong cases.
• Stay current with relevant case law and legal precedents that affect property damage and personal injury claims.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal requirements.
Skill Set:
• Doctor of Law degree from a law school holding national accreditation.
• Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on property damage and personal injury cases.
• Proven 1st chair trial experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage and win complex cases.
• Active member of the Georgia Bar in good standing.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is a significant plus, but not essential.
• Strong organizational, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with client management and legal strategy development.
• Strong negotiation skills with a history of favorable settlements.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in legal settings.
