Our client is a leader in the crane and rigging industry, specializing in providing innovative lifting solutions for complex projects. With a commitment to safety, efficiency, and precision, they support a wide range of industries by delivering expert lift planning, engineering support, and project execution.
They are seeking a highly skilled Lift Planning & CAD Specialist to support their Rigging Team in preparing lift plans, assisting with proposals, and coordinating site access and permits. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in crane and rigging operations, proficiency in CAD software, and excellent communication skills.

Focus:
Develop, verify, and submit lift plans for crane and rigging operations using 2D/3D/LICCON Lift Planning software, incorporating site-specific variables.
Generate CAD drawings for bid proposals and lift plan documentation.
Prepare and submit Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Method of Procedures (MOPs) related to lift operations.
Mark crane positioning on site layouts to ensure proper setup and execution.
Communicate and collaborate with customers to gather project details and provide lift plan information.
Distribute lift plans and associated documentation to relevant stakeholders.
Skill Set:
Experience with crane and heavy equipment operations preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; or equivalent of five years of progressively responsible project management experience.
Advanced proficiency in CAD software with the ability to learn similar programs.
Strong competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
Ability to work efficiently without personal distractions (e.g., phone use, social media).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Accuracy in typing and ability to proofread own work.
