This role is ideal for a professional with 2-3 years of dedicated experience in the legal field, specifically focusing on employment law.

Focus:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys specializing in employment law.
• Prepare and manage a variety of legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and discovery materials.
• Coordinate and schedule client meetings, court dates, and depositions.
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to assist attorneys with case preparation.
• Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible.
• Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals.
• Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and other crucial documents.
• Manage attorney calendars and ensure timely reminders for important deadlines.

Skill Set:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a legal assistant, with a focus on employment law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures related to employment law.
• Experience with case management software preferred.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
