Lead Welding Instructor

As the Lead Welding Instructor, you will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive welding training programs to students of all skill levels. You will serve as the subject matter expert, guiding and mentoring trainees to ensure they develop the necessary skills and certifications to excel in the welding industry.

Focus:
Develop and implement comprehensive training curricula, covering both theoretical and practical aspects.
Conduct hands-on welding instruction and demonstrations, ensuring trainees acquire proficiency in various welding techniques.
Assess and evaluate trainee performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
Maintain accurate records of trainee progress and certifications.
Ensure the training facility’s welding equipment and tools are properly maintained and in safe working condition.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in welding and incorporate them into the training programs.
Collaborate with the training management team to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the welding programs.
Skill Set:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a certified welder, with expertise in multiple welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick, etc.)
Demonstrated experience in training, teaching, or instructing welding techniques and practices
Strong knowledge of welding theory, safety protocols, and industry standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and instruct trainees
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain welding equipment
Proficient in reading and interpreting welding blueprints and technical drawings
Willingness to stay current with evolving welding technologies and industry developments
Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME, OSHA) are preferred
