They’re now looking for a dedicated Lead Project Manager – Global Equipment to spearhead the oversight of procurement and shipping logistics for multiple global projects.
The Lead Project Manager – Global Equipment will be integral in ensuring seamless project execution, from nurturing stakeholder relationships to maintaining accurate order and delivery schedules. This role is critical in keeping projects on track and ensuring that the teams and clients are always informed and engaged.

Focus:
Oversee and ensure the seamless execution and delivery of equipment to global plants. Be the primary point of contact for global project teams, addressing any requests or alterations.
Manage and maintain the health and status of multiple ongoing projects, ensuring milestones are met. Work closely with global business units and factories, ensuring aligned project objectives. Ensure that all procurement, logistics, VAT, payment, and finance SOPs are adhered to, maintaining compliance. Analyze “what if” scenarios, providing comprehensive data for key decision-making processes. Proactively address any challenges or discrepancies in order deliveries or alterations.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Handle project close-outs, ensuring all financials are reconciled and all deliverables met. Collaborate with internal team members at various levels, fostering a team-oriented environment. Play a mentorship role, providing coaching and support to newer team members.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics/supply chain, or a relevant discipline. Strong background in the manufacturing industry. Experience in managing teams and projects. Proven ability to work under pressure, ensuring deadlines and project milestones are met.
Comprehensive understanding of procurement and logistics processes and best practices. Demonstrated proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Coupa, and other relevant platforms. Excellent skills in communication, organization, time management, problem-solving, and negotiation. Multilingual capabilities a plus, with a preference for fluency in Italian or German.
