A leading manufacturing firm, specializing in advanced brewing technology, is seeking a seasoned Lead Process Engineer with a strong background in injection molding to enhance their production capabilities. This pivotal role involves optimizing injection molding processes for new and existing products, mentoring team members, and spearheading operational efficiencies within their state-of-the-art facility.

Focus:
Lead the review and approval of new injection mold designs, ensuring they meet stringent quality standards.
Oversee the entire mold bring-up process from conceptualization through to full-scale production.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for part processing and machine operation to maximize efficiency and quality.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to the molding team, enhancing their capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Manage the maintenance schedule for all injection molding machines and equipment, including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks.
Evaluate and recommend equipment purchases and upgrades, managing the installation and integration of new technology into the production line as needed.
Skill Set:
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a lead role within an injection molding environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
In-depth knowledge of injection molding processes, including material selection, machine setup, and mold design (experience with Nissei machines preferred).
Demonstrated ability to independently manage large-scale projects and multitask effectively across various production initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with experience in ROI calculations and capital expenditure assessments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of representing the company professionally to all stakeholders.
Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, for reviewing and approving design files.
Previous experience with automation tools and robotics within a manufacturing setting is highly regarded.
A solid understanding of quality control standards relevant to the industry, such as ISO, SQF, or NSF certifications.
