About the Opportunity:

A dynamic consumer goods company, renowned for its distinctive and design-forward product lines, is seeking a seasoned Inventory & Distribution Manager to oversee its warehousing and distribution functions. This pivotal role is integral to the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional products to a global customer base. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic insight and hands-on leadership to drive operational excellence and support the company’s growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, accurate inventory management, and timely shipping and receiving processes.
• Develop and implement warehouse procedures to optimize productivity, accuracy, and safety.
• Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
• Coordinate with vendors and carriers to manage inbound and outbound logistics effectively.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within a high-volume, fast-paced distribution environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with major retail accounts and third-party logistics (3PL) is advantageous.
