We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Bilingual Managing Attorney to head our client’s immigration law practice. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of immigration law, particularly humanitarian-based visas, paired with stellar leadership capabilities and a commitment to serving a diverse clientele.

Focus:
• Lead and oversee all aspects of the immigration law practice, ensuring strategic alignment with overall organizational goals.
• Provide expert counsel on complex immigration matters, including but not limited to humanitarian-based visas, U visas, VAWA, and asylum cases.
• Manage and mentor junior attorneys, ensuring the highest standards of professional growth and legal expertise.
• Develop and implement firm policies and ensure regulatory compliance across the practice.
• Represent clients in immigration courts and before the USCIS, handling a personal caseload of complex cases.
• Spearhead business development efforts and maintain client relationships.
Skill Set:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution with active membership in the State Bar of Texas.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of immigration law experience, with a proven track record in U visas, T visas, VAWA, and asylum cases.
• Familiarity with both humanitarian and employment-based immigration law, including H-1B, L-1, EB-5 visas, and PERM labor certification.
• Background in criminal law or related immigration issues and experience with employer audits for immigration compliance.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring legal teams.
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel to Mexico as needed.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
