They are now seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive HSE programs within the facility. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and compliance of all operations with federal, state, and local regulations.

Focus:
• HSE Program Management: Design, implement, and manage effective HSE programs tailored to the specific needs of the manufacturing environment.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with U.S. and Texas HSE regulations, including EPA, DHS, OSHA, and other relevant safety standards.
• Audit and Inspection: Conduct internal site and workshop audits, including HSE management system audits. Lead audit processes in alignment with ISO 19011 guidelines.
• Management Systems: Maintain and improve HSE management systems in compliance with standards such as OHSAS 18001 (or ISO 45001) and ISO 14001.
• Industry Knowledge: Leverage experience in the Oil and Gas sector, including familiarity with HSE information exchange platforms like ISNetworld and Avetta, to enhance safety practices.
Skill Set:
• A minimum of 3 years in a managerial role focused on HSE within a manufacturing facility, complemented by over 8 years of progressive experience in the health and safety field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory. Specializations in Occupational Safety, Health, Safety Engineering, Safety Science, or Environmental Health are highly preferred.
• Extensive understanding of U.S. and Texas-specific HSE regulations, including federal safety standards.
• Proven ability to conduct thorough HSE audits and implement findings to improve safety practices. ISO 19011 Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
• Experience with HSE systems and protocols in the Oil and Gas industry, and proficiency in using industry-standard HSE platforms.
