This position requires a proactive professional who can navigate a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from strategic staffing initiatives to the day-to-day management of HRIS and policy administration.

Focus:
• Lead and manage the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for new employees.
• Partner with facility leadership to meet staffing requirements and goals, this includes overseeing job bidding, promotions, transfers, and other job-related changes.
• Counsel and advise managers and supervisors on company policies and procedures and provide guidance on performance improvement activities, disciplinary actions, and warnings when necessary.
• Develop and implement initiatives designed to improve and maintain a positive workplace culture and manage activities and events that support employee engagement and retention.
• Oversee HRIS systems, including timekeeping, attendance records, and benefit enrollment and ensure all personnel records are accurate and up-to-date in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Monitor and analyze company policies and procedures to ensure alignment with industry standards, as well as conduct periodic audits and surveys to assess the effectiveness of HR practices.
• Administer benefits programs, including disability, FMLA, and Workers’ Compensation, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and complete employee files, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
• Administer pre-employment testing and ensure post-offer requirements are met.
• Serve as a resource for employees at all levels, answering HR-related questions and providing support as needed.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong command of HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and basic data analysis.
• In-depth understanding of employment laws and HR best practices. Ability to ensure compliance and advise leadership on regulatory matters.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization. Strong reasoning abilities to address complex HR issues in dynamic environments.
• Self-starter capable of operating with limited supervision, maintaining strict confidentiality, and handling sensitive information with the highest level of integrity.
