Our client, a leader in the healthcare sector, combines technology and research to set new standards in care quality. Amidst their growth, they are seeking a Healthcare IT Director to lead their information technology initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
The Healthcare IT Director is responsible for aligning the organization’s IT infrastructure to support healthcare delivery and administrative functions. This role involves overseeing the integration of technology solutions to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Focus:
• Develop and implement the organization’s IT strategy in alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including infrastructure management, system maintenance, and user support.
• Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative stakeholders to identify IT needs and opportunities for process improvement.
• Evaluate and recommend IT solutions to enhance operational efficiency, patient safety, and data security.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to maximize value and minimize risk.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, providing guidance on potential opportunities and threats.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to healthcare IT.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT management in leadership roles, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Experience with IT project management methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Certification in relevant areas such as ITIL, CISSP, or PMP is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
