As part of their growth, they are seeking experienced Fire Sprinkler Service & Install Fitter Technicians to join their teams based in the Portland, OR and San Jose, CA areas.

Technicians in this role will install, inspect, service, and repair fire suppression systems, ensuring full compliance with national and local fire protection standards. Key Responsibilities
• Perform hands-on installation, repair, and service of wet-pipe, dry-pipe, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems.
• Conduct scheduled inspections following NFPA 25 guidelines, including internal pipe reviews, obstruction investigations, hydrostatic tests, and flow verifications.
• Document work using mobile software and compliance documentation tools per state and local regulations.
• Maintain thorough records of service history, discrepancies, and repair recommendations.
• Foster professional rapport with clients, communicating needs for follow-ups or additional services to relevant internal teams.
Qualifications
• 2–3 years of direct experience as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter or Technician.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• WA Journeyman Fitters License and ITT Certification (for Washington-based roles) highly preferred.
• NICET II in Water-Based Systems, Backflow Assembly Tester Certification, and Certificate of Fitness (COF) are desirable, but not required.
• Strong familiarity with fire codes, sprinkler systems, and local safety regulations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Flexibility to occasionally travel overnight or be on call.
Working Conditions
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and maneuvering tools and materials throughout the workday.
• Work includes exposure to field environments and occasional off-hour service needs.
