They are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician Is responsible for overseeing the installation and upgrade of fire alarm systems, providing technical guidance in programming, configuration, and troubleshooting. This role requires a deep understanding of fire alarm systems and the ability to lead teams and projects of varying sizes.

Focus:
Perform advanced troubleshooting on a variety of fire alarm systems.
Execute complex programming tasks for fire alarm systems.
Conduct comprehensive site surveys for fire alarm system upgrades and new installations, ensuring compliance with relevant codes.
Diagnose and resolve issues with complex networked fire alarm and mass notification systems.
Develop and lead Pre-Installation Testing and Checkout (PITCO) plans.
Prepare submittal packages for permit applications.
Supervise and manage fire alarm system projects from start to finish.
Provide expert advice on system programming, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Guide and develop team members on fire alarm systems and best practices.
Skill Set:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
Ability to perform calculations related to battery sizing and voltage drop.
Competence in using keypad programming for various fire alarm systems.
Proficiency with Bluebeam or similar software.
Possess a 2-year technical degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in fire alarm systems.
High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level III (required).
NICET Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems II.
Certified Portable Fire Extinguisher Technician (ICC/NAFED or equivalent).
Additional NICET certifications are advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Excellent communication skills with clients, team members, and office staff.
