Financial Controller

Focus:
• Ensure compliance with all financial reporting standards and dealership-specific regulations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support the organization’s growth.
• Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial processes and support business objectives.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.

Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.
• Minimum of 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance is required. Candidates with a mix of education and hands-on experience will also be considered.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions that could impede the operation of company vehicles. A history of maintaining a clean driving record is mandatory.
• Prior experience within the automotive dealership industry is a must, bringing with it an understanding of dealership financial practices and regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to manage complex financial systems and processes.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing industry trends.
