Our client is seeking a dynamic Employment Attorney to lead their charge in championing the rights of individuals facing employment challenges. As a key player, the candidate will specialize in discrimination lawsuits and business litigation, making a real impact in and out of the courtroom.
The candidate will take on the challenge of managing end-to-end cases, conducting comprehensive legal research, and representing clients in court regularly. • Manage end-to-end single-plaintiff discrimination lawsuits and business litigation cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research to establish a robust case foundation and stay current on employment law precedents.
• Provide legal counsel to clients, explaining options, potential outcomes, and guiding them empathetically through the legal process.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, presenting arguments, examining witnesses, and ensuring effective representation.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Engage in settlement negotiations, striving for favorable outcomes while considering the interests of all parties.
• Develop and implement legal strategies based on a deep understanding of client objectives and employment laws.
• Maintain transparent communication with clients, keeping them informed about case developments, timelines, and legal strategies.
• Successful passage of the California State Bar Exam.
• Proven experience in handling discrimination lawsuits and business litigation.
• Confident representation of clients in court with strong oral advocacy skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and staying updated on changes in employment law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for articulating complex legal concepts.
• Strong negotiation skills for achieving favorable settlements.
• Client-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
