Embedded Wireless Software Engineer

They are looking for an Embedded Wireless Software Engineer to design and develop cutting-edge wireless software solutions within a dynamic engineering team. This role focuses on creating, testing, and maintaining firmware for embedded systems, directly contributing to key product features. The ideal candidate will leverage strong expertise in wireless connectivity and embedded programming to help drive the company’s technology forward.

Focus:
Develop, test, and maintain firmware for embedded systems, ensuring high performance and reliability across wireless protocols
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize embedded software solutions
Support the enhancement of our clients software for seamless customer integration
Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of embedded devices, utilizing lab equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and team discussions to ensure alignment with project goals
Drive improvements in security and efficiency within the embedded development process
Skill Set:
Proficiency in C and Python, familiarity with GCC, Git, and command-line environments on Linux, Windows, and macOS.
Strong expertise in driver development, data structures, state machines, SPI/I2C communication, and real-time operating systems.
Experience with agile methodologies, and thorough understanding of software and hardware lifecycle.
Background in unit and functional testing; experience with lab equipment such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with a strong aptitude for documentation and cross-team communication.
Prior experience in RF communication or networking-oriented applications.
Security best practices in embedded development.
Experience in customer support and enablement for technology integration.
Familiarity with device manufacturing processes, including board bring-up and assembly line testing.
