They are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team. As a fully competent Registered Professional Engineer, you will perform work involving the application of all conventional aspects of engineering to the functional area of the assignment. This role requires exercising judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Focus:
Develop initial design approaches for significant phases of large facilities projects or assume overall responsibility for electrical engineering work. Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate electrical engineering tasks. Oversee the design and progress of projects, ensuring effective coordination with City, State, and County officials, and other external agencies. Address and resolve complex issues, such as conflicting design requirements and challenging coordination needs.
Act as a primary liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and design teams. Review engineering plans and prepare or evaluate technical specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates. Participate in the bidding process and contract administration; monitor project activities on-site. Supervise and mentor less experienced engineers and technical support staff assigned to projects. Perform other duties as assigned by a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Architectural Engineering (BSAE) required. Professional Engineer (PE) License. 5+ years of progressive experience. Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (e.g., Revit MEP, AutoCAD) preferred. Strong verbal communication skills. Excellent organization, time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Effective working individually and within team environments.
