Focus:
Provide guidance and direction to the Quality Assurance team, overseeing day-to-day operations and promoting a culture of quality excellence. Develop and implement robust quality management systems to uphold product integrity and meet regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for enhancing manufacturing processes and implementing best practices to optimize quality and efficiency. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications, conducting audits and facilitating corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with suppliers to maintain quality standards for incoming materials and components, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain. Utilize data analysis techniques to monitor quality metrics, identify trends, and drive informed decision-making to prevent defects and improve overall quality performance. Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in quality management and process improvement.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality management role within the manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of implementing quality systems and driving process improvements. Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC). Experience with quality management software and ERP systems is desirable. Familiarity with industry regulations and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or other relevant quality management systems. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve quality objectives. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights to improve quality performance. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate quality concepts and requirements across all levels of the organization.
