Dealership Controller
Our client, a premier automotive group providing a wide array of vehicles and services, is looking for a Dealership Controller to manage and direct the financial and accounting activities across their dealership locations.
This role involves overseeing the accounting and financial functions for assigned automotive operations, with a strong emphasis on enhancing profitability, ensuring robust internal controls, and effectively managing company assets.

Focus:
Ensure that each Financial Manager produces accurate and timely monthly financial statements within five working days, adhering to company guidelines and industry standards.
Facilitate and oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes across designated locations.
Conduct thorough monthly balance sheet account analysis.
Support collection activities and provide regular updates on past due accounts to relevant department leaders.
Oversee the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including those related to banking, reserves, factory payables, and inventory financing.
Regularly communicate with department leaders to discuss financial metrics and address any unresolved financial issues.
Manage and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and stakeholders.
Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of accounting staff.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols within the financial department.
Perform other related duties as required.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
7-9 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver’s license with the ability to maintain a clean driving record.
Previous experience in the automotive industry, particularly in a financial or accounting role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various levels of the organization.
Superior organizational and time management abilities.
Demonstrated resourcefulness with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
Leadership skills that foster autonomy and motivate teams to achieve high performance.
Proficient in PC applications and financial software.
Commitment to maintaining a positive, ethical, and servant-leadership approach in all professional activities.
