Our client is an expert in the telecom and wireless space. They provide a full range of wireless solutions, including DAS, security, small cell, antenna/radio systems, and more. They are looking to hire a DAS Engineering Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their network infrastructure.
The DAS Engineering Manager will be at the forefront of telecom and wireless engineering efforts. They will lead the engineering organization across multiple states, driving technical excellence and ensuring the efficient operation of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS).

Focus:
Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration. Innovate cost-effective strategies to streamline operations and boost team productivity. Monitor project progress, provide coaching, and guide the team effectively. Manage RF resource budgets to align with business demand and optimize allocation. Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate escalations when necessary. Negotiate effectively with vendors to secure crucial products and services. Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic RF budget plans. Implement best practices for system maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting. Instill accountability within the team, setting and achieving goals and KPIs. Oversee comprehensive technical education and training programs for internal and external staff.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; Master’s preferred. 7+ years of RF Engineering, design, and optimization experience. 3+ years of leadership experience or equivalent. Demonstrated financial acumen, including a successful history in budget oversight, cost assessment, and proposal formulation. Specialized knowledge in small cell architecture. Proficiency in the core principles of radio wave propagation, antenna theory, and optical transmission. Skill in translating customer specifications into efficient design and seamless integration. Profound familiarity with DAS Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Experience with forecasting tools like Atoll, iBwave, and MapInfo. Advanced expertise in 3G, 4G, and 5G wireless technologies. In-depth comprehension of RF principles, encompassing link budgets and noise figure analysis. Exceptional decision-making prowess, particularly in high-pressure situations. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication capabilities. Preferred certifications: OEM certified, IBWave Level 1BS.
