As a DAS Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, deployment, and optimization of cellular DAS and ERRCS systems. Collaborating closely with project managers, site personnel, and internal teams, you will ensure the successful implementation of wireless communication solutions tailored to our clients’ unique requirements.

Focus:
• Conduct site surveys to assess locations and determine system design requirements, including RF data collection.
• Design, engineer, analyze, commission, configure, and test RF and DAS projects for both public safety and cellular applications.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop Bills of Materials (BOMs), establish budgets, define project scope, and create timelines.
• Utilize iBwave for empirical and predictive design, operate test equipment, and perform post-processing software analysis.
• Interpret iBwave designs and work with project managers and the design team to implement system changes and upgrades.
• Participate in site walks and preconstruction activities, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed.
• Interface directly with customers to provide project updates, address obstacles, and ensure project milestones are met.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for public safety, DAS, and 5G deployments.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with RF/DAS equipment and components.
• Technical proficiency with DAS commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with RF antennas, fiber optic cabling, and small cell installations.
• Familiarity with iBwave software for design and analysis (certification preferred).
• Experience with RF link budgets and spectrum analysis tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and industry standards.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to travel 50% – 60%.
