The organization is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician to support a local data center campus.

Focus:
• Support the day-to-day operations of the data center, ensuring optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, and fire life safety systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot chilled water systems, HVAC units, electrical distribution systems, and fire safety equipment.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules in collaboration with management.
• Monitor and respond to abnormal conditions in facility systems, documenting issues and proposing solutions.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage maintenance activities and inventory.
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to internal teams and external clients.
• Assist with the creation and refinement of maintenance procedures and documentation.
Skill Set:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a data center or related mission-critical operations role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in a data center environment, including UPS, PDU, CRAC, and fire life safety systems.
• Familiarity with NFPA standards and compliance regulations related to electrical safety and fire protection.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with database management software.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess operational data and identify areas for improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours, including weekends and on-call duties as required.
