We are seeking a Cost Estimator to join their dynamic team. This person will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial and operational success of all projects. Our client is looking for a diligent professional with a robust background in commercial or industrial cost estimation and a keen eye for detail to help us maintain competitive and accurate project pricing.

Focus:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements.
• Offer expertise in the estimation of construction-related activities with a focus on demolition and excavation projects.
• Assess cost effectiveness and potential environmental impact of projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on financial and technical evaluations.
• Provide timely and precise cost information on project variances and risk analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of bids, budgets, and cost tracking reports.
Skill Set:
• Minimum of five years of experience in cost estimation, preferably within the commercial or industrial sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
• Advanced understanding of construction, demolition, and excavation processes and technologies.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex documents and financial reports.
• Excellent communication to deal effectively with all business contacts.
• Working knowledge of industry regulations, including safety and environmental laws.
• Direct experience in demolition estimating is highly advantageous.
