Our client, a leader in the data center services industry, is a seasoned Construction Project Manager with a strong background in mission-critical facilities to oversee large-scale data center projects. The ideal candidate will possess an advanced understanding of construction management, project management, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems essential to the operational integrity of data centers.

Focus:

• Direct and manage the development and construction of data center projects ensuring precision and compliance with all specifications.
• Oversee multiple project teams across general contracting, project accounting, procurement, and construction management disciplines.
• Drive stringent cost control measures to ensure project profitability.
• Foster a collaborative environment while leading and developing personnel towards achieving project objectives.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless progress and resolution of any emerging challenges.
• Maintain high standards of safety and regulatory compliance throughout project execution.

Skill Set:

• A bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Preferred background in Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in mission-critical data center development, including general construction and heavy MEP systems construction.
• Proven track record of at least 7 years in management roles, with substantial exposure to project management, construction management, general contracting, and project accounting & procurement.
• At least 4 years of experience in leadership roles, managing teams effectively.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing robust cost control mechanisms.
• Extensive experience in the construction of data centers, along with a profound understanding of critical facility operations.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required by project needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Microsoft Project 2003 or newer.
