Our client is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager specialized in Data Center projects to join their dynamic team in the commercial building industry. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Construction Engineering or Management, coupled with extensive experience in mission-critical facilities.

Focus:

• Oversee all phases of data center construction projects from conception to completion.
• Manage project budgeting, scheduling, and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols and quality control measures.
• Lead project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project status.
• Travel to project sites as required to ensure project milestones are met and standards are upheld.

Skill Set:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the mission-critical industry, specifically with data centers.
• Flexibility to accommodate project-related business trips and assignments is required.
• Effective and articulate communication style, with the ability to convey complex ideas through clear and concise writing and speaking.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
• Preferred Skill Set:

• Demonstrable ability to manage complex MEP systems in mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of the intricacies involved with early turnover dates and critical facility commissioning.
• Proficient in managing critical work processes and Methods of Procedures (MOPs).
• In-depth knowledge of project management software tools such as Microsoft Office, Procore, Primavera P6, and others.
