The Concrete Structural Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and ensuring the integrity of structural systems for various projects. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will provide technical expertise and innovative solutions while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. Focus:

Conduct detailed calculations for structural components, including post-tensioned and reinforced concrete slabs, columns, shear walls, and moment frames.

Review, redline, and approve drawings to ensure accuracy and alignment with structural designs.

Create detailed designs tailored to specific project needs.

Participate in coordination meetings with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Address RFIs from contractors and project stakeholders, ensuring clarity and compliance with design specifications.

Review contractor shop drawings for adherence to project requirements.

Perform site visits to monitor construction progress and confirm adherence to design intent.

Champion a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team.

Skill Set:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on structural design preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.

Proficiency in structural analysis software and tools; familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM, and Bluebeam is advantageous.

Willingness to learn and utilize REVIT for 3D modeling.

Knowledge of structural design codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, IBC, etc.).

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented and motivated to deliver high-quality results.

EIT certification or progress toward a PE license is preferred.
